OVERVIEW

Working Principle of Rotary Level Sensor:

The rotary level sensor adopts the electromechanical position control principle for contact-type material level measurement, ensuring precise detection of solid material levels in industrial bins.When there is no material around the blade in the industrial storage bin, the rotary level sensor is powered on, the indicator light turns on, and the blade rotates counterclockwise stably.When material covers the blade of the rotary level sensor in the bin, the blade's rotation is blocked, the control signal switches immediately, and the motor power of the level sensor is cut off to avoid overload.This state is maintained until there is no material around the blade; then the rotary level sensor resets automatically, the motor power is turned on again, the indicator light illuminates, the blade resumes rotation, and the control signal switches back to the initial state.

Installation Requirements of Liquid Level Measurement,:

When installing the rotary level sensor, the blade should be placed away from the lower part of the feed inlet and the dead material area of the bin. To prevent material impact during use, a protective plate must be installed above the detection blade—following this requirement ensures the sensor's long service life.

If vertical installation with an extended shaft is adopted for the rotary level sensor, a protective sleeve should be installed, or the positions of the blade and flexible shaft should be kept away from direct material impact. For multi-point measurement, appropriate distances should be maintained between sensors to avoid mutual winding of flexible shafts.

To prevent rainwater infiltration in outdoor environments, when installing the rotary level sensor sideways, the wire outlet should be directed vertically downward and the upper cover should be tightened. For vertical installation, a rain cover can be added if conditions permit to protect the sensor from rain damage.
